Andrew Lahde is an American hedge fund manager widely known for his contrarian investment strategies during the global financial crisis. He is the founder of Lahde Capital Management and gained public attention for his significant returns during the 2007–2008 financial crisis through research and strategic positioning in the subprime mortgage market.

Early in his career, Andrew Lahde focused on research into macroeconomic structural imbalances, credit cycles, and systemic financial risks. His investment style is characterized by independent judgment, in-depth research, and contrarian thinking. He is known in the industry for his low profile, prudence, and emphasis on risk management, and has long avoided public appearances or frequent media exposure.
